New York City has got many entertaining methods to educate you. Maybe one of the coolest activities within New York City is to visit the FDNY Fire Zone. The actual admission is complimentary, however if you want to go through a Fire-Simulation event there are nominal fees involved (currently under per person). The Fire Zone is a state of the art facility where fire safety is taught. Mount Vernon Hotel Museum and Garden is another awesome location to learn, and now it is all about history since it was at one time the dwelling of the daughter of President Adams. Take a walk throughout history within this lovely home transformed into hotel and then walk around in the outdoor gardens. If you are experiencing a need to get away from the huge city while staying within the big city this is a wonderful place to visit and feel the air surrounding you and forget about the fact that the closest shopping center is actually very near.
The Brooklyn Children’s Museum is great fun for kid of any age, and fun after all, is a universal language and you will find plenty of that here. A piece of good news is that this specific fun is in fact nicely disguised education. The Brooklyn Children’s Museum was the very first museum of this type, by that I refer to the initial museum which was committed to amusing and teaching kids, and is, directly responsible for the 300 different children’s museums currently dotting the globe. Admittance is very affordable at a more per person and children under the age of one year are free. The museum is not open Mondays throughout July and August as well as on Mondays and Tuesdays for the rest of the year excepting some public school recesses.
The New York Hall of Science is another awesome learning experience in which you may enjoy pursuits and exhibits which bring science and magic together and prove that they are not actually separate.
